The Pure Energy Dance Productions' Dance Discovery Program is designed to introduce movement skills that are age appropriate for a young dancer’s physical, emotional, and social skills. The program works to develop motor and locomotor skills (the critical elements of creative movement), through the basic elements of creative movement, tap, ballet, rhythm, and musicality.
Designed to nurture your child’s self-expression, creativity, and imagination, your dancer will love learning through playful movement and delightful music, in an uplifting and positive environment. Rather than seeking perfection, we want your child to feel confident, and safe in all that they do. Watch as your child falls in love with dance as they joyfully leap, twirl, and skip through class week after week! All Dance Discovery classes except for Hop'n Drop are doubled up and will meet twice a week during the month of June. June classes and camps, and July and August Summer Camps are included in the continuous year round tuition option.
A note about attire: dancers may wear either the previous year’s attire or leggings and tank tops of their choosing during June classes.

Creativity and imagination driven, Me and My Star introduces is all about discovering the delight of dancing and encouraging self expression. Guided by nurturing instructors, caregiver and dancer participate in class together as little movers are introduced to rhythm, music, movement and all that is the magical world of dance. See your dancer flourish as they explore and discover through movement, dance and music. This is a creative movement class for ages 6 months through 3 years of age. Classes meet once a week for 30 minutes. Dancers may come to multiple weekly classes as space allows.

2 Years old without Caregiver: Your child is ready to begin exploring basic ballet, tap and rhythm concepts. In this energetic class, your dancer will be able to soar and flourish as they experience creative based movements in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Your child is encouraged to participate in class without a caregiver and will begin forming their first relationship with a nurturing instructor.

Your child will joyfully develop creative self-expression and delight in performance, while still enhancing their basic understanding of ballet and tap technique still taught through creative movement. Your dancer’s imagination, and elementary artistry will begin to flourish as they discover more and more about dance and movement.

Enthusiastic instruction will nurture your dancer’s self-expression and creativity while they learn elementary skills in dance, choreography, dance vocabulary, rhythm, and musicality. Dance styles focused on are ballet, tap and jazz technique while exploring a number of styles that enhance their overall dance repertoire. Enhancement styles include contemporary, Hop'n Drop, and musical theatre.
Rising Stars and Shining Stars classes are combined for the summer and will follow the Shining Star Curriculum. Rising Stars pay to take class twice a week plus Hop'n Drop. Shining Stars pay for unlimited classes (up to 6 times a week) plus Hop'n Drop
