Share the Love

Things are in full bloom here at Pure Energy! Recital planning is underway and our teachers are hard at work creating choreography that will inspire and uplift our students.

There’s so much in store for you this spring! Read on for all the details, and as always, feel free to reach out with any questions. We're here for you!

Dancing into February with Love and Encouragement

This month, we’re embracing the theme of Share the Love at Pure Energy! Our goal is to create a space where every dancer feels supported, valued, and free to express their true selves.

We’re giving students the chance to spread kindness and encouragement by writing heartfelt notes to their fellow dancers in class.

Together, let’s celebrate love, creativity, and connection all month long!

Summer Schedule Begins June 2nd – Stay on Track!

Mark your calendars: The regular dance schedule begins June 2nd and will remain in place throughout the summer and into the new dance season, which starts August 18th. Unlike a modified schedule, this summer schedule is designed to ensure consistency and progression for your dancers as they move into their new level.

What to Expect:

  • Your dancer will automatically transition into their new classes and levels based on their continued progression. Summer placement announcements are coming soon!
  • Participation in summer classes is essential for growth and may impact your dancer’s future level placement. Dancers who remain active over the summer build stronger technique, positioning them for greater success in the new season.

Enrollment Policies:

  • Continuous tuition ensures your dancer stays enrolled unless you choose to take action. If you plan to pause after the recital, please unenroll before April 15, 2025.
  • We have a 45-day drop policy, so if you’re opting out of summer classes, please plan ahead.
  • Keep in mind: Unenrolling for the summer means level placement for the next season cannot be guaranteed.

By staying consistent and participating in summer classes, your dancer will build on their progress and be ready to shine as we head into the new dance year. Stay tuned for placement announcements and updates!

Let’s keep your dancer growing, learning, and thriving this summer!

Dance Class Reminders: Stay Prepared, Confident, and Stage-Ready!

To help our dancers shine both in class and on stage, we’ve put together a few key reminders. Thank you for your support in creating a positive and productive experience for everyone!

Attendance & Preparation:

  • Consistent attendance is essential for learning and advancing in dance. If your dancer will be absent, please notify us in advance via call, text, or email.
  • Dancers should come prepared with a water bottle to stay hydrated and use the restroom beforehand to minimize interruptions during class.

Class Attire & Hair Guidelines:

  • Proper attire includes a clean and well-maintained leotard or dancewear, dance tights, and the specified dance shoes. Minimal accessories only, please!
  • Hair should be neatly secured in a bun or as required for your class style.
  • To avoid mix-ups, please label all belongings.

Performance Makeup (Level 1 and Up):

As we prepare for showcases and recitals, dancers in Level 1 and up are encouraged to use long-lasting, color-stay lipstick for performances. This ensures a polished, stage-ready look with minimal touch-ups. Recommended shades are peachy-pink to dark red. Here are some great options:

If you have any questions about makeup, attire, or anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make this season unforgettable!
