MEET THE TAKE THE STAGE TEAM

Bella ruffino – Acting Instructor

Bella is thrilled to return for her second year with Take The Stage Summer Camps! As the lead acting instructor, she brings fresh insights from her studies at the University of Texas, where she’s majoring in Theater and Dance. Bella is passionate about helping young performers discover their voice, build confidence, and explore the magic of storytelling. With her warm, energetic approach, she creates a safe and exciting space for kids to step into character and take center stage.

Liana Walles – Dance Instructor & Choreographer

Liana has been dancing her entire life and brings an infectious passion for movement and creativity to every class. As the former President of her high school drill team and a competitor in advanced theater during junior high, Liana blends discipline with expression to create fun, high-energy routines that inspire confidence and joy. She’s a natural leader who thrives on teaching, connecting with campers, and encouraging every child to shine on stage.

Amaya hall– Dance & performance Instructor

With a lifelong love for movement and storytelling, Amaya has been dancing since the age of three and hasn’t looked back since! Trained in jazz, lyrical, and competitive dance throughout childhood and her teen years, she brings both technical excellence and emotional expression to every class.

A proud alumna of Texas A&M University, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance Science with minors in Psychology and Sociology—giving her unique insight into both the physical and emotional aspects of performance. Her experience as a drill team member and theater competitor allows her to blend the worlds of dance and drama into an unforgettable learning experience for young performers.

In the classroom, Amaya is all about connection, confidence, and creativity. She’s passionate about helping campers express themselves through movement while building solid technique and stage presence. Her goal? To inspire every dancer to move with purpose, passion, and heart.

Hydia Brooks – Singing Instructor & Camp Counselor

We're thrilled to welcome Hydia Brooks to the Take The Stage team as our lead singing instructor this summer! With a rich background in early childhood education as a preschool teacher, Hydia brings warmth, patience, and infectious energy to every camper interaction.

Her love for music began early—singing in church choirs and winning multiple vocal competitions throughout junior high and high school. Now a passionate singer-songwriter, Hydia blends her talents in both music and dance to create fun, expressive experiences that campers adore.

Hydia’s approach is all about confidence, creativity, and joy. She believes singing and movement go hand-in-hand, and she’s excited to help every camper find their voice and feel empowered on stage.
