Hip Hop Broadway Masterclass

Hip Hop has become a style seen more frequently on the Broadway stage. Through the use of creative movement, distinct musical beats, and unique dance techniques this expressive style has become favored by musical choreographers. 

In this masterclass, we will focus on perfecting basic hip hop moves. We will take a combination and break it down step by step, making sure that the technique is fully understood. We will then spotlight the importance of performance and its different aspects.

This masterclass will be instructed by actor and choreographer, Hannah Shihdanian.


LEVEL 1 - Saturday March 9th at 4:00-5:00 PM

Girls Attire: fitted t-shirts, tank top, or leotards, fitted leggings or dance shorts, smoothed soled sneakers or dance boots

Boys Attire: fitted t-shirt or tank top, well fitting athletic shorts, pants, or tights,smoothed soled sneakers or dance boots

Class Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Prerequisites: 2 years of dance, 6+ yrs
Tuition: $20

LEVEL 2 - Saturday, March 9th at 5:15-6:30 PM
